Dr Luke Danaher graduated from University of Queensland in 2008 and spent his resident years at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH). He undertook a research year at RBWH with a focus on interventional radiology.
Following this, he did his radiology registrar training at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH), and at various other hospitals across Queensland as part of his training. He gained his Fellowship with RANZCR in 2017 and undertook fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
He is a member of RANZCR, IRSA, SIR, and CIRSE with particular interests in Interventional Radiology, Interventional Oncology, Image-Guided Procedures, Oncologic Imaging, Women's Imaging, and Uterine Artery Embolisation.
Dr Danaher is a full-time Consultant Interventional Radiologist with Mater Medical Imaging and Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He will be discussing the role of ultrasound in the assessment of uterine fibroids before and after Uterine Fibroid Embolisation.Back to speakers
