Alison White

Alison White is a Senior Lecturer and Program Director of the Graduate Diploma of Clinical Physiology at Griffith University. She is a cardiac sonographer with nearly 20 years' experience in echocardiography, stress-echocardiography and non-invasive diagnostic cardiac testing. Alison has a special interest in the education and professional development of cardiac sonographers with emphasis in the areas of cardiac physiology, pathophysiology and echocardiography. Alison served on the DMU Board of Examiners for 10 years from 2005 to 2015. Alison’s contribution to the profession of cardiac sonography has been recognised through the ASUM Australian Sonographer of the Year in 2012, and international recognition in 2017 as being accepted as a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography.
