Claire Morrissey is a Senior Sonographer/Radiographer at Queensland Children's Hospital and with I-MED at Caboolture Public Hospital. She completed her Medical Imaging Technology Degree at Curtin University, WA, in 2002, and went on to achieve Postgraduate First Class Honours in the field of CT/MRI. She later completed her postgraduate Ultrasound studies at QUT. Her professional interests are Paediatrics and Obstetrics, and will do pretty much anything to get out of performing CVI studies in adultland.
Claire is also the Ultrasound Educator at Australia Zoo, helping the Vets to optimise imaging outcomes for animals at the zoo.
Claire has presented at State, National, and International conferences on various ultrasound topics.
Claire has three sons, including three year old twins, and enjoys going to work to scan paediatrics, to get away from her own kids.Back to speakers
